INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR WIRELESS CONNECTION FOR EPSON EB 1770W PROJECTOR
* Note:
The fast wireless connection for the projector described in this article is only applicable to computers using the Windows operating system
USB Quick wireless connection (ELPAP07) and optional accessory and not included with the projector.
Make sure wireless LAN module (ELPAP07 / ELPAP10) is installed. The wireless LAN module is an optional accessory and is not included with all projectors.
Installation steps
- Step 1: start up the projector
- Step 2: Press the LAN button on the remote control. Then you will see a screen like this:

- Step 3: Verify that an SSID and IP address are displayed, then remove the wireless LAN module from the projector.
- Step 4: Plug in the USB Fast wireless connection into the same port used for the wireless LAN module.

You see an expected message that the network information update has completed.

- Step 5: remove the USB.
- Step 6: Reinsert the wireless LAN module into the projector.
- Step 7: Connect the USB to the USB port on your computer or laptop.
- Step 8: reinsert the wireless LAN module into the projector.
- Step 9: Follow the on-screen instructions to install the fast wireless connection driver.
Note:
1. For the drivers to connect quickly wirelessly to install on a computer, you need local administrator rights.
2. If you see the Windows Firewall message, click Yes to disable the firewall for this application. After a few minutes, your computer image will be displayed by the projector. If it doesn't appear, press the LAN button on your remote controller or restart your computer.
- Step 10: conduct a slideshow
Step 11: When the slideshow is finished, select the Safely Remove Hardware option in the Windows taskbar, then remove the USB key from your computer.
Note: You may need to restart your computer to re-enable your wireless LAN connection.
